Why did we create The Children's Creative Cottage?  Well, awhile back I put my daughter in a Waldorf inspired preschool program.  At the time, I had no knowledge of this program, I just went to the school based on a referral from a friend.  When I entered the school and was oriented to the program, I was amazed and delighted.  I found myself wanting to stay and observe more due to the serene, natural, and creative surroundings.  I loved the Waldorf philosophy, and I was inspired by the idea of allowing our children to participate and engage in creativity and creative play. 

After a few months into the program, I began to see dramatic improvements, along with a blossoming imagination in my daughter.  I started researching as much as I could on Waldorf toys, programs, and web sites.  Since there is always so much information on the web, I decided to start my own website compiling all of the information that I have found so far.  This way other parents can have a central or "hub" so to speak of information to review when making the decision to put their child in a "part time" or "full time" preschool program.
